Happy Thanksgiving

What a beautiful time of the year. If you can help it, go to someone else's house for Thanksgiving. I had the family Thanksgiving at my house a few years back. Big mistake.

I've never worked so hard in my life. Not that digging a foxhole in the desert sand was pleasant, but my family can eat! I think my family is solely responsible for raising the Gross National Product for the country around this time of year.

Computer tip of the month

A lot of folks know about this one, but it bears repeating. A simple function can help you find the word or words you're looking for on long web pages.

Simply press Ctrl-f, type in the word(s) you're looking for, and your computer will search the page and highlight that word for you. Saves a lot of time when you're searching web pages for specific info!

Joke of the day

The young couple invited their parson for Sunday dinner. While they were in the kitchen preparing the meal, the minister asked their son what they were having.

"Goat," the little boy replied.

"GOAT?" replied the startled minister, "Are you sure about that?"

"Yep," said the youngster. "I heard Dad say to Mom, 'We might as well have the old goat for dinner today as any other day.'"
